July 22 — 23, 2026 — we gather to mourn and to remember.
Tisha B'Av is the saddest day on the Jewish calendar — the day on which we mourn the destruction of both Temples in Jerusalem and the many tragedies that have befallen our people throughout history. We mark it with a full fast, the reading of Megillat Eicha (Lamentations), and the recitation of Kinot.
The community is invited to join together for each of the day's services as we sit, reflect, and pray for redemption and comfort.
The fast begins at 8:21 PM on Wednesday, July 22, and concludes at 8:53 PM on Thursday, July 23.
All are welcome to join us here at Anshe Sholom for each of the day's services.
